We started this custom deck project in the beginning of January 2023. We dug 3’ deep holes and pored the concrete piers first. Then we framed the deck in sections and got it leveled over the piers. Next we installed the posts and joists followed by the decking, stairs and finally the cable railing! It was a challenging job and we are very proud of how it turned out.
Ready for some grilling! We used dominos, glue and screws to join the mitered stair treads together. Finished the stairs just in time! We built the frame in 3 sections and then joined them together over the concrete piers. We dealt with lots of snow on this project! Building the frame
