These alder radius trim pieces were made using a long trammel to layout the correct curve and then cut out with a jig saw and belt sanded smooth. The floating shelves are descending which allows the can lights behind the radius trim to cascade down the shelves.
To determine the correct radius, I used a formula I found in an old carpentry book I purchased on Amazon.
