This 3/4” x 3 1/4” Oak door casing is mitered and joined using biscuits, wood glue and clamping pressure, and a couple of well-placed finish nails.

House movement, moisture, and general wear and tear can cause the miter joints on the door casing to come apart over time. This process ensures the miter joint will stay tight and look right for decades to come!
